Victoria Beckham Takes Her Menswear Style To Cannes

Friday, May 13, 2016

Victoria Beckham is one fashionable woman—and she should be, given the fact that she’s the head of her label, Victoria Beckham Collection. The stylish star had all eyes on her when she turned up at the Cafe Society premiere and the Opening Night Gala during the 69th annual Cannes Film Festival at the Palais des Festivals on May 11, 2016 in Cannes, France.

For the event, the posh lady donned a structured corset top with a sweetheart neckline and menswear pants from her own label, as well as jewelry by Chopard.

Of course we had to note the high waist of the pants as well as the slouchy length of the highly tailed item.

Leave it to Victoria to challenge the current trends of either flared pants or pants that hit the ankle by wearing something completely different. Whatever is going on with this ensemble—she’s working it!

Victoria Beckham Is Forever Plaid In Victoria Beckham Collection

Tuesday, October 27, 2015

It’s no mystery why Victoria Beckham is revered as one of the most fashionable women in the world—she’s a style powerhouse!

Channeling her inner Sherlock Holmes, Victoria Beckham stepped out in a striking plaid coat on Monday afternoon. Get this lady a magnifying glass and a jaunty cap, stat!

Of course, the mom of four was totally on brand when she donned a Victoria Beckham Double-breasted checked wool coat ($3,800). She jazzed up the ensemble with a pair of red pants, which are also from the Victoria Beckham Collection. Her button-down shirt is also from her denim line, and runs $370.

The British beauty hid her peepers behind a pair of Cutler and Gross sunglasses. Oh how chic!

Victoria Beckham Sells 600 Pieces From Her Wardrobe To Help AIDS Charity

Tuesday, August 5, 2014

Victoria Beckham is getting rid of her wardrobe?! Fret not, the fashionista has not lost her mind—the designer is selling 600 pieces of her actual wardrobe to help the mothers2mothers charity, which helps eliminate the transmission of HIV and AIDS between mothers and their unborn children.

The Posh Girl shared a pic with some of the mothers that the charity helps, writing, “Proceeds from my #VBxTHEOUTNET sale will support @M2MTweets in their mission to end mother-to-child HIV transmission.”

The sale takes place on Net-A-Porter’s outlet site, TheOutnet.com, from Aug. 20-25. The charity was started by Annie Lennox’s husband, gynecologist Dr. Mitch Besser, and is aided by fellow fashionable A listers Anna Wintour and Stella McCartney.

Apparently the mother of four was inspired to help after visiting South Africa earlier this year, when she met with some of the women affected by the disease. Kudos to you Lady B!

Dolce And Gabbana Slam Victoria Beckham: She Doesn’t Make Clothes Like A Fashion Designer

Thursday, April 3, 2014

Victoria Beckham may have a long list off fans including celeb clients Cameron Diaz, Blake Lively, Anne Hathaway—but don’t count designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana as two of them. While at the Glamour of Italian Fashion, a new exhibition at the Victoria & Albert Museum, the designing duo praised England’s “cool” style—but took the opportunity to slam Victoria Beckham.

Gabbana said the former Spice Girl-turned-designer had only turned to the fashion world after doing, “many, many, many different things.”

Interestingly enough, Victoria was once the ambassador for the Italian fashion house—so something must have gone during their partnership.  Gabbana continued, “she’s a designer but…for us, she don’t make (clothes) the same way like a fashion designer.”

Dolce also chimed in on the verbal bashing when he grouped Beckham’s designs with mainstream retailers such as Zara and H&M.

Being disliked by the designers probably won’t touch Posh’s prestige too much. In 2011, Mrs. Beckham beat out both Stella McCartney and Tom Ford to win Designer of the Year at the British Fashion Awards. The 39-year-old was named one of the UK’s most influential women in BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour 2013 Power List.
