Are Floral Pants A Spring Fashion Do Or Don’t?

Spring has officially sprung in Los Angeles, and while it’s still a bit too chilly to hit the beach, some of our fav starlets are stepping out with ensembles that have us itching for the warmer weather! But here’s what we wanna know: Are floral prints okay for pants, or are they best kept on sundresses and blouses? Well, let’s examine the evidence!
Everyone from Olivia Palermo to Zoe Saldana has stepped out wearing this look, but it seems like patterns with a more subdued palette are the key to making it work. Yesterday Amanda Seyfried was spotted in a pair of J Brand Sugar Cane Mini Floral crops ($202), and a few weeks ago Lindsay Lohan and Lana Del Rey were both photographed wearing Citizens of Humanity’s high-waisted Mandy straight-leg jeans ($190) in navy and pastel green, respectively. Jessica Alba wore a pair of Erdem floral trousers to an event in January, and Minka Kelly ran errands in a pair of 7 For All Mankind floral pants just the other day.
While Lana’s are the least offensive of the bunch, we’re hoping this trend wilts away once the real flowers start popping up over the next few weeks…
Lindsay Lohan Puts Her Prada Tote To Good Use

Lindsay Lohan stopped by Gyu-Kaku for a friend’s birthday celebration the other night, and the red-headed hottie wasn’t exactly in the mood for photos, but she did show off her exceptional (and expensive) taste in leather goods!
Lilo rocked a $3,200 Rick Owens washed-leather biker jacket, and it seems like she’s been obsessed with motorcycle-inspired outerwear lately. Just last week we caught her in a red IRO moto jacket, and at this point we’re pretty sure she has an entire section of her closet devoted just to biker attire!
The 25-year-old actress added a splash of color to her getup by matching her azure shoes and blouse, and while we wish she had worn dark blue jeans instead of black skinnies, we’re not going to be toooo picky about it. Lilo finished off her look with a $1,960 Prada Saffiano Lux tote, and we’re guessing her nail polish isn’t from the drugstore either. Cha-ching! That’s one pricey outfit—hopefully she’s not skimping on her buddy’s bday present!

Not only is Lindsay Lohan back to her natural shade of red, but she’s making a very bold statement in this Ashville washed-leather biker jacket by IRO—loves it!
The French label is “known for creating relaxed staples with a feminine feel,” and this dreamy jacket is currently priced at $1,200, which is practically a steal compared to other designers like Chanel and Burberry. Burberry’s motorcycle jacket runs for about $1500, and Chanel’s leather outerwear is about 2-3 times that, so it’s good to see Lindsay’s being practical about her purchases!

Not only did Lindsay Lohan earn praise from the judge at her progress report hearing today, but she’s getting very high marks from us for this mint green Acne dress!
When Lilo arrived at court (early, of course!) she covered up the frock with a Roland Mouret trench coat, but she spiced up the outfit with a pair of python Alexander McQueen pumps and a chunky diamond bracelet. Lindsay has certainly had her fair share of court dates, so she’s definitely figured out what works and what might be a little bit more appropriate for a red carpet event.
