Yoko Ono is showing off some of her designs for a new men’s clothing line called “Fashions For Men.”
John Lennon’s widow has partnered with Opening Ceremony to design a limited-edition clothing collection of 18 styles.
The above sketch was drawn by Ono as a wedding gift for Lennon back in 1969. When asked about her inspiration for the partnership with Opening Ceremony, Ono released the following statement:
“I was inspired to create ‘Fashions for Men’ amazed at how my man was looking so great. I felt it was a pity if we could not make clothes emphasizing his very sexy bod. So, I made this whole series with love for his hot bod and gave it to him as a wedding present. You can imagine how he went wild and fell in love with me even more.”
The fashions will go on sale at Opening Ceremony stores in New York, Los Angeles and Tokyo beginning November 30.
