Nicki Minaj’s new Pink Friday fragrance commerical has been released, and true to form, the R&B princess chose an explosion of colors to represent the essence of her scent. The commercial shows the singer on a bed of black roses until she pricks her finger, whereby a sea of pink floods the surroundings and her whole body turns into gold. The bottle is an exact replica of the “Starships” singer, complete with a pink wig and a gold necklace.
“I’ve been thinking about [a fragrance] for like, the last two years actually; I knew I was going to call it Pink Friday. I didn’t know I would have a pink wig on the bottle until I met with the fragrance company and they asked me what I wanted my bottle to look like and I said - is there any way we can put a pink wig on it?” she told MTV News.
She’s the reigning Queen of Cosmetics! In addition to her perfume, Nicki also has her OPI nail polish line and her MAC Viva Glam campaign.
