Who needs costumes when you can wear fabulous couture?
The Harper’s Bazaar Woman of the Year Awards were held at Claridge’s Hotel in London on October 31, and stars like Marion Cotillard and Emily Blunt honored at the bash, picking up prizes for International Actor of the Year and British Actor of the Year, respectively.
While awards are awesome and all, the ultimate accomplishment is being voted the best dressed at the event, and there were quite a few frocks to choose from. Rosamund Pike wowed in a classy red gown, but Daisy Lowe stole the show in a sparkly beaded number and glamorous makeup. Brit model Jacquetta Wheeler showed off her long limbs in a short red cocktail dress, but girlfriend needs to work on her posing—she looks like she’s about to tip over, and her metallic heels aren’t even that big!
Queen Elizabeth II was named Icon of the Year to mark her 60 years on the throne, Scottish singer Emeli Sande was declared Musician of the Year and Sir Paul McCartney’s daughter Stella picked up the British Designer of the Year prize.
Estee Lauder, Harrods and Tiffany & Co. also sponsored the event … can you imagine what the swag bags were like at this party?!
