What a sexy choice!
French actor and model Gaspard Ulliel has been cast to play Yves Saint Laurent in an upcoming biopic. The film, set to be directed by Bertrand Bonello and produced by Eric Altmayer, will chronicle the iconic designer’s life. Bonello’s last film House of Tolerance debuted at the Cannes film festival in 2011 to rave reviews, so we don’t doubt this movie will impress!
Ulliel is best remembered for his role as Hannibal Lecter in Hannibal Rising, and he recently starred in The Princess of Montpensier.
No stranger to the fashion world, the hunky Frenchman was the face of Chanel’s male fragrance Blue and he appeared alongside supermodel Kate Moss in a Longchamp campaign.
