Sarah Jessica Parker Reflects On Iconic Fendi Baguette Bag As Commemorative Book Is Released

Carrie Bradshaw’s obsession with the Fendi Baguette bag made it famous, and now Sarah Jessica Parker is reflecting back on her character’s penchant for the iconic purse.
“Having the Fendi Baguette was a very big deal, and the gateway to everything else. It really opened the floodgates and influenced the storyline - especially Carrie’s habit of spending more money on fashion than her home,” the Sex and the City star told The Financial Times.
Now, the brand is honoring the iconic accessory with a new book. Creator Silvia Venturini Fendi dedicates over 250 pages to the various designs, how she drew her inspiration, and how the handbags transformed the market.
Six favorite styles of the bag are being reissued in June to celebrate 15 years since the purse’s original release.

Kim Kardashian landed in London the other day, and while she’s promoting her jewelry line, filming her show and coordinating dates with beau Kanye West, she’s never too busy to pick out a fabulous outfit!
The reality TV starlet rocked a pair of J Brand mid-rise skinnies ($173), a Celine top, and a Valentino leather jacket, and—surprise!—she wore her fav pair of Christian Louboutin pumps ($625). Seriously, she can’t seem to live without these shoes!
While Kim has been sporting lots of monochromatic suits and dresses (as Fashionista pointed out, she seems to have stopped wearing color around the time she started stepping out with Kanye), it sounds like she still has summer fashion on the brain. Kim recently blogged about her fav finds for the warmer months, and she revealed that she’s stocking up on maxi dresses! She wrote, “Just throw on a cute pair of sandals or summer wedges, a statement necklace and a denim jacket and you’re ready to go!”

The 38-year-old supermodel is sporting Fall 2012’s hottest styles while giving good face on the beaches of Jamaica. The gorgeous photo shoot was shot by famed photographer Terry Richardson.

Looks like Kate’s ultra-thin days are a thing of the past. We’re loving her new-and-improved healthy glow!
Tyra Banks Writes An Open Letter Praising Vogue’s Ban On Underweight Models

It was recently announced that Vogue Magazine has vowed not to work with models who appear too thin, and Tyra Banks has written an open letter praising this decision and weighing in on her own body image.
“To models around the world, I want to celebrate Vogue’s recent groundbreaking announcement,” Tyra writes. “The editors of Vogue’s 19 international editions have pledged to ban models from their pages who ‘appear to have an eating disorder,’ to create healthy backstage working conditions, as well as several other revolutionary initiatives. This calls for a toast over some barbecue and burgers!”
Banks continued, “In my early 20s I was a size four. But then I started to get curvy. My agency gave my mom a list of designers that didn’t want to book me in their fashion shows anymore. In order to continue working, I would’ve had to fight Mother Nature and get used to depriving myself of nutrition. As my mom wiped the tears from my face, she said, “Tyra, you know what we’re going to do about this? We’re going to go eat pizza.” We sat in a tiny pizzeria in Milan and strategized about how to turn my curves into a curveball. In a way, it was my decision not to starve myself that turned me into a supermodel, and later on, a businesswoman.”
